A new video performance takes place on the school's new football field, where the artist operates systems of symbols and familiar rules from the field's life: tracking markings on the field, circles around the center circle, using a ball, and even the artist's attire participating in a ceremony or celebration. The action is whimsical, circular, and repetitive, with the figure gradually sinking into the blue and white field. The work's title, "Deluge," leaves questions of expectation, hope, protest, and prophecy, blending in a unique rhythm and sound created by the composer Issac Shushan.
